New Hawaii Tourist Tax Includes an Increase in TAT (Transient Accomodation Tax), Impacting All Short Term Rentals. Starting Jan. 1, 2026, the state TAT will rise from 9.25% to 10% for hotels, short-term (under 6 months in duration) rentals and time shares.
